How to check recently added backlinks?

Paid tools (Moz Fresh Web Explorer, Ahrefs, Majestic) will almost always be the best with the freshest links.  However, sometimes you can find them in a few other places:

1. http://openlinkprofiler.org/  This is the "freshest backlinks, for free." Give that a go, though the database wasn't huge last I checked.
2. Webmasters Tools - links do take awhile to come into WMT but sometimes you get lucky and they're in somewhat quickly.
3. Search your domain in Google "yoursite.com" and see what links you discover that way.

You can get a few recent links this way. Fresh Web & Ahrefs are generally the best, though.

Ahrefs, Majestic Fresh Index, and Google WMT will all tag links with the day they were discovered.
