One Web site many Domains

One of my client have about 12 domains related to his one web site .all domain name relevant to keywords .but doing seo for one target domain name.Now he ask what to with rest od domains plz advice and experts advices are highly appreciate..

I would 301 the domains to pages that match the keywords on the main domain then just continue 1 domain seo

301 in this fashion.

http//:www.example.com/keyword/

• Move any relevant content
• Make sure you don't have overlapping content

If all the content is the same and the only difference is the domain urls, the pages will be fighting against each other for position. The benefit of having multiple domains with different keywords wouldn't be as effective as concentrating on one primary domain. If you must keep them all, be sure to use a canonical tag for the domains.

I had the same basic question earlier this year when I was trying to decide what to do with the 100+ domains my company owns. A couple experts replied to my question and advised me to only work on 1 or 2 domains as far as SEO. The thought was dividing time up on multiple domains would show less results then spending all the time on 1 or 2 domains. You may view my question here.
