Is this a Moz crawl or from Screaming Frog?
If you see next to either URL a 301 HTTP status which then points to the other, then there should be no issue.
The crawlers will find all URL variations despite it's HTTP status.

Don't forget you can set your preferred domain with Google which will also help. You will want to set up both www. and non www. in your webmasters to do it as well.

Echoing the question about which tool created the report showing a duplicate home page? Google should totally disregard the non-www version of the site given the correct redirection. Set your preferred domain in WMT as Chris says as well, to be on the safe side.
