Indexing pages after de-indexing them

I have been de-indexing duplicate content on my website which has almost 40 pages contain duplicate content from other websites.

later on the website ranking drop down.

so should i re index them or just wait ?

You could have implemented the Canonical tag on the site to stop any cross site duplicate content issues.

The only time I would remove URL'S is if you have a staging site with the same content on a different URL for example.

Hi Mohammad,

It's impossible to tell if the deindexation is the cause of your ranking drop without knowing what other activity was going on at the same time, but James is correct that canonicalisation would have been a better option than deindexing your pages. You could consider allowing crawling / indexing again and using the canonical tag.
