Anyone having trouble logging into Moz while using Chrome?
-
With Chrome, I am getting two issues in trying to log into Moz account: Either I get a redirect loop notice, or after hitting Login it just comes back to the same page and no opportunity to login. When I am on Q&A, and try to login and it does not work, I checked to see if I was already logged in (see screenshot). It shows I am, but I cannot answer questions, etc.
Obviously, I can use FireFox, but was wondering what the issue might be.
Thanks to all,
Robert

Hi Robert,
I haven't heard anyone else having this issue with Chrome. You may need to kill your browser and try clearing the cache and cookies to see if that helps.
Thanks,
Steffany

OK, I killed the browser (shot it with a .44), cleared cache and cookies and now it's working. Thanks Steffany!
Now I need to know if there are any necessary rituals, etc. around how to correctly (and respectfully) bury a dead browser?

The proper way is to cremate it and scatter the ashes over the internet lol

Glad that fixed your issue!

That was GOOD!
You rocked it.

As another data point, I'm on Firefox and just this afternoon I'd be logged in to the rest of the site, but not to the Q&A section. I deleted all my moz.com cookies, then was able to log in just fine.

Thanks for posting that. I was having the same problem but just kept jumping onto Firefox.

Hey Steffany, just got a note from Moz (and thought it was GGGRRRREEEAAAATTTTT) (My Tony the Tiger impersonation).
I had not checked anything re this being a good answer or thumbed it up. Please accept my humble apologies for the oversight as you did save my day. I have treated the response appropriately today. Thanks again, and thanks to Moz for the cool heads up.

Ken,
I had come back to this to thank Steffany and saw your response. Just wanted you to know I am a gummy bear, jelly bean (typically fruit flavors), quality orange slice, etc. kind of a guy. I am so glad I could help you out. Hint. I hope it really provided an opportunity for you to relax and not worry, Hint, or to get back to the business of getting the candy out to those who truly need and deserve it. Hint.
Just kidding, couldn't pass it up though, all the best.
Robert
