      Hi,

On their G-Plus page Moz have 80,224 plus 1s and counting.
      What does this number reflect?

Is that the total +1s people did on their site?

Is that the number of +1s people did solely on the G Plus page?

Is that the number of followers to their G+ profile?

      Thanks

Those are the +1s made to their Google+ Page. Either by clicking the +1 right on the page, or on a widget on other site.

          Hello,

This social bookmarking is similar to "like" on Facebook.

On the one hand you can add to your circles MOZ and become a follower, and secondly you can give your support to the mark with the +1 without seeing your updates.

The +1 count on a domain level, so that if you had many Google+ pages belonging to the same domain would be added to the domain and all pages in Google+ you would the same amount, the total of all +1, at least so far it is.

          Greetings.

            Thanks.
By _"plus 1 right on the page" _ you mean that it also counts the 500-1000 pluses on each article page? (for example the 629 here: http://moz.com/blog/keywords-to-concepts ?)

No, this pluses are only for the URL: http://moz.com/blog/keywords-to-concepts

No. It only counts the +1s on the Google+ Page and on Google+ widgets installed on a site that are using their Google+ Page as the SRC.

                Check here: https://developers.google.com/+/web/+1button/

You can put that code in any page and it will +1 the page that it is on. However, if in the "Advance Options" you input Moz's Google+ Page, then even installed in your site and clicked will be "+1ing" Moz's Google+ Page.

                  Thanks Alberto.

So since MOZ don't have a Plus badge onsite, it means that 80,000 people (uniques) clicked +1 on the G plus page?

And it is not necessarily that they have 80,000 followers?
(more people click plus 1 for support than actually want to subscribe to the feed)

Exactly, +1 and followers are independent.

+1 I guess continue to rise because Google+ is becoming a more active network, especially for online marketing professionals.
