How do you find high traffic blog to gust post on?

The challenge is similar to "How do I get a credit card with no credit".

The authoritative blogs that can drive traffic you seek won't accept posts from just anybody (especially somebody without a real following). While I am sure it isn't what you want to hear the first question needs to be "How do I make connections / friends in my niche" That's easy. Same as a new job or high school - be authentic, provide value, be helpful, help them get ahead (share their stuff, make meaningful comments).

(providing you that link is an example of me showing a real pro some "love". I don't expect anything from him in return but I know there is a good chance that if I help him enough in enough way it might be enough to get a mention in some way or possibly a relationship, who knows)

This same thing worked for my just last week. I put a link to Ana with http://www.trafficgenerationcafe.com/ on the homepage of my site and she mentioned me (AND LINKED TO MY SITE) Thanks Ana! in a post she wrote last week, sorry I don't have it in front of me.
