I ran a crawl in Xenu and got a list of ~1000 outbound links. Is there a good non-manual way to check if any of them are bad neighborhoods?

      Thanks for reading!

Hmmm who created those links? You? If yes, you should know where are you linking to. If the links are user generated, then you should add a nofollow to all of them.

If you are not selling links or allowing link spam in your Website, then there's nothing to worry about.

Federico is correct that if you're whitehat you shouldn't need to worry but sometimes stuff happens (even mean competitors) you can use the likes of majestic SEO or open site explorer to look at metrics like domain authority or trust flow etc.  Still a bit manual but at least you can see in bulk.

Remember though just because a site has a low metric doesn't mean it's a bad link etc. it could just be someone with a blog who doesn't have many links etc. and wants to write about an experience he/she had with you. It's a far better effort to focus on building good quality content for good quality links then put your time and effort into trying to find bad links you may or may not have. Even if you have a couple they are part of a natural link profile and can be improve again with better quality on site content etc.

          Good luck!

Link Detox. Not 100% accurate - you'll need to manually look at any you think are borderline - but it will definitely make the job easier.

Link detox analyzes inbound links, not outbound. Peraps another tool from linkresearchtools, but not link d-tox.

                Daniel,

All of the tools I know about for checking outbound links only really tell you whether the link is working or not. They are designed to look for error codes so you can update your outbound links that go to 404 pages and such. There is a ScrapeBox plugin that will tell you how many links the page you're linking to has, which could give you a general idea of whether you're linking to a directory, links page, etc... but I'm not sure how helpful that will be to you.

As Federico mentioned, you may check with the people at Link Research Tools to see if you can customize one of their products to get the job done, but I don't think it works that way out of the box.

Good luck and if you find something please post here so we know about it too!
