Tips for improving google places page
-
When I started working on this page he had multiple incorrect listings. I removed the incorrect ones and created this page. It has been confirmed via postcard and up for several months now.
I have the profile filled out to 100% completion.
Yet it does not show up very high in local map results. A ton of the business that do show up higher have profiles that are incomplete. Many of them show their address when they do not serve customers at their location. So it is a bit aggravating.
Any suggestions to make this profile rank higher? I have been creating more citations through whitespark and working on the actual site itself.

Noah, you're kind of just scratching the surface as far a what you need to do for your local search visibility. Now that you've got your listing straightened out, you need to start working on your citations and reviews.
I'd recommend you go through this list of Local Citation Building Best-Practices | The Super Rad Whitespark Blog as your next step.

Chris,
I have a quick question on the article you posted. I wasn't clear on what to do about listing phone numbers. We operate in four counties with offices in three of those counties. We have unique phone numbers for Hernando County, Hillsborough County, Pasco/Pinellas County (they share one) and a toll-free number. However, all these numbers get forwarded to our main office in Pasco County.
When we do citations, what phone number should we pick? We could do the toll-free number for all of them, that would make it universal. We could do the phone number that matches their county, but that number gets forwarded. Or, we could just use the main office line number for every office to avoid any forwarding. What do you think?
Thanks,
Ruben

You want to use a unique phone number for each location and if you can use unique numbers for the Pasco/Pinellas offices you'd be better off.
