I understand that Google does not want to index other search results pages, but we have a large amount of discount tee times that you can search for and they are displayed as helpful listing pages, not search results.

      Here is an example: http://www.activegolf.com/search-northern-california-tee-times?Date=8%2F21%2F2013&datePicker=8%2F21%2F2013&loc=San+Diego%2C+CA&coupon=&zipCode=&search=

These pages are updated daily with the newest tee times. We don't exactly want every URL with every parameter indexed, but at least http://www.activegolf.com/search-northern-california-tee-times.

It's weird because all of the tee times are viewable in the HTML and are not javascript.

An example of similar pages would be Yelp, for example this page is indexed just fine - http://www.yelp.com/search?cflt=dogwalkers&find_loc=Lancaster%2C+MA

I know ActiveGolf.com is not as powerful as Yelp but it's still strange that none of our tee times search pages are being indexed. Would appreciate any ideas out there!

As a golf lover, this is a neat site.

I find search result pages Google eventually indexes but i find it takes awhile. What we did for a client was create several local landing pages and kept them at the bottom. Essentially would would have "LA tee times" or "San Francisco tee times" and we would link those terms to the actual landing page (the link you provided was for San Diego so we would have done "San Diego tee time"). We did this more to rank for that keyword and if any consumers actually landed on it, provided them with a very local experience from a national brand.

I would also recommend cutting some parameters from your permalink structure. Permalink structure doesn't really need date or date picker. You can place more local keywords in your search result permalink structure to help rank better (even the YELP link you provided does that very well).

          Hey Matt,

Thanks for the ideas, I do agree we should probably drive some more links at it, whether internal or external. And as far as parameters we have gone back and forth with development to reduce those, but this is the best we've done so for.

I still think it's strange that nothing is getting indexed even though the pages have been live for about 2-3 months.

Looking forward to any other ideas.

If you go to www.activegolf.com and search for tee times do you get a list of local tee time deals? A little bit of feedback would help tremendously!
