One should note that keyword density is a very very old practice as far as SEO goes. It can provide some insights but I wouldn't spend much trying to optimize to a certain density. The best way to optimize a page for a keyword is to use is naturally within content, then re-read the content if it sounds like your trying to drive home a keyword, then it's too much.

donford is correct, there is no such thing ass KW density in seo. There is a penalty for keyword stuffing. so keep it natural.

+1 from my side Ala! I simply hate people who are investing their lot of money on KW density... the more human written your content is the more people will read and convert...
