On Page Optimization Reports for Google UK Grade A - F
-
Hi,
Can someone please explain how it is that one of my keywords ranks as a Grade A and a Grade F? This doesn't seem to make any sense?
Thanks in advance.

Heather,
The ranking is based on a keyword against a page.
So while in your control panel - Keyphrase "Apples" may have a grade of A against page www.yourwebsite.com/apples, against a different page not optimised for the phrase Apple it will get a Grade of F...
Your key phrase is obviously ranking against two different pages ,you can change this in the backend. As in select the appropriate word you want to rank against on any page
Hope that makes sense

Hi Heather, Can you explain further?
On page grader only gives one score per keyword, I don't see how you can receive two grades :S
I take it this is the tool you are using https://moz.com/researchtools/on-page-grader

Do you happen to use the same keyword and by mistake having a capital(s) letter? (example: xxxx xxxx london and xxxx xxx London?) it happened to me once and I got different reports and different ranking positions.
Maybe a glitch or indeed Google sees it as a different keyword. not sure

Hope it helps!
