Tracking a blog sub domain and a main domain within one campaign?

Does anyone know if it's possible to track my blog (blog.backupify.com) in the same campaign as my main site (backupify.com)? Or would I need to create a 2nd campaign for the blog since it is a sub domain? As I type this, I realize it might be best to track the blog in a sperate campaign so I can easily see how it's doing on it's own in terms of seo, etc...

Does the Web App track the subdomains of my campaign’s domain?
Unfortunately we do not currently track subdomains as a part of the domain you enter. Instead, you must create another campaign slot for any subdomains you wish to track.

Has this changed recently with the whole moz update? I was under the impression entering a root domain without the www would allow tracking of all sub domains including www., so you could actually track multiple sub domains in a single campaign. Now the help page is a bit unclear on that, above says you can track the root domain if you like, below says you cannot track sub domains...

Indeed it might be better to track the blog. sub domain in a separate campaign, but now I am confused if you can actually track them all in one or not...

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for writing in and sorry for the confusion. We can actually track all the subdomains for a domain if you set the campaign up as a root domain campaign (http://screencast.com/t/w8ylrpR7Y). This would include your blog subdomain and the main site, as well as any other subdomains that may be on the site.

It seems the Help Hub had some misinformation about the subdomains. I have already updated the FAQ on the help page to reflect that we will in fact crawl any subdomains if the campaign is set up to track the root domain. I'm very sorry for the confusion this may have caused.
