Hello! I am ranking very well with a keyword. But that same keyword without an S at the end (making it singural) gets quite a few more searches per month according to Google's Keyword Tool.  However, dropping the S just doesn't sound quite right or make as much sense. So how can I target both keywords? Thanks in advance!

You wont want to try and target both.  That kind of strategy doesnt really work anymore. The Google keyword tool wont really give you an accurate count with plural vs. non plural (same with misspellings).  They essentially tell the community that they are able to interpret these kinds of things and make adjustments accordingly.

The one thing you could do is add some internal links within your site with the plural keywords to help send the signal to google, but other than that I wouldn't do much.  Trying to get "external anchor link text" for the plural and strategies like that just wont get you far anymore, and could do more harm than good.

I'd be interested for more details on this, if you have any, as this is what I have been doing.  I can't tell if it has done harm but then I can't tell if I'd have done better if I hadn't done it.
