Software to extract cc and/or bcc field?

Is there a way (i.e. software) to get bcc addresses from an incoming message? In other words, if someone emails you with the term "list" in the cc or bcc field (created from a distribution list from a program like Outlook), can you extract that "list" and get the actual email addresses?

Don't think it can be done legitimately.

However I'm in a little over my head on this one so would love to see some verificaion/rebuttal for this.
