Good Social Media Software
-
Hey, Guys
This might be a bad question given the forum but, what's a good social media software for helping you identify opportunities? For example, A software that helps you located individuals on Facebook or Twitter that have a large sphere of influence and who routinely talk about subjects that are related to the industry that you are in. Or a software that helps you grow the subscriptions to your Youtube Channel. The reason that I ask is because I know that Vocus has a marketing suite that offers this service. The problem is that this marketing suite is extremely pricey for a small-business.

SEOMoz's FollowerWonk tool works great for this. Their social authority metric is fairly useful to sort and you can search keywords in profiles. It won't be able to identify things that people talk about frequently if they're not in the bio profile, however.

Hi Chad
I believe what you're looking for are influencer marketing solutions. You can probably check out Klout and PeerIndex, both of which measure individuals' influence across various platforms, and allows companies to offer these influencers "perks" and get them talking about it. Among the two, PeerIndex is probably more domain sensitive. You might want to check out Kred too, although it's not as famous as the two above.
Wildfire and HootSuite are alternatives to help you manage multiple platform social media as well. The latter might be the more economic option.
