      Hello there,

      I am trying to fix the issues with my campaign and I am trying to fix Rel canonical issues. I tried to read a few blogs and other sources which talked about the Rel canonical but I am not able to understand why is Rel Canonical happening?

      I understand that http://elegancealways.com is not the same as http://elegancealways.com/about-us/ but then I cannot change the link as the link is correct. I read about 301 and 302 redirects. I do not understand that which link is correct then? The errors SEO MOZ is showing is what I am not able to understand as these links are correct.

      I need help here!!

      Thanks Vineeta

        The canonical tags seem to be implemented properly, what issue are you running into? Is SEOMoz detecting duplicate content? Or something else?

          Vineera, I think you're running into a common problem with the canonical notices that SEOMoz supplies in your report.

          They do a TERRIBLE of explaining that things listed in the Notices section DO NOT mean that there is any problem with those items. It simply means the crawler has detected those features on your site, and that you should double-check to ensure they are implemented the way you want them. It doe NOT necessarily mean there is any problem. If you read the tiny print, the notices section description is: "Notices are interesting facts about your pages we found while crawling." So... interesting facts, not problems.

          As Takeshi mentions, your canonical tags are implemented properly so you can ignore the notice.

          Hope that helps;

          Paul

            I crawled your site and you have no canonical issues, Thompson is correct about the notices.

            Its telling you where you have the canonicals, not that they are errors, but in case they are where you did not expect them
