What is the BEST eCommerce platform ?
-
I'm using BigCommerce, but I will like to try a new platform. Do you have any recommendations?

Magento Commerce all the way! OR for aspx ASPDOTNETSTOREFRONT

Jo Framcosco,
Do you care to elaborate why you'd recommend aspx ASPDOTNETSTOREFRONT?
-
Magento is a very good open source commerce CMS - and also support multiple front-ends. I totally recommend it BUT you will may need someone to help you set it up and customise it. Also it is a resource hungry solution so you would need to make sure your hosting can support it, some hosting companies will not even host a Magento site.
What are you trying to do? I assume you use BigCommerce as it's easy and needs no coding etc...
Happy to give you advise about it. -
If a hosting provider will not support Magento, do NOT use them. That hosting provider probably wouldn't be able to handle any decent amount of traffic. Yes it does take up resources, but I never have an issue with it. I have been using magento since 2008 when it came out.

I used to work at a web development form and I'm familiar with it. You can download the software and do what you want with it much like you can with magento. With many eCommerce software providers a person has to host with the company who provides the software. http://www.aspdotnetstorefront.com/c-1-e-commerce-storefront-software.aspx. Look at their packages and features.
Other providers like Volusion charge a monthly fee. With ASPDOTNETSTOREFRONT, there is no fee; however, there is a upfront fee.
I recommend it to someone who is using SQL (asp). This is not MySql (php)

Thank you for your recommandtions, but I need something more easier to work with.
Reading Adrew Bleakley's review, I will try the trial version of:
Americommerce
CoreCommerce
Pinnacle Cart
and
Ashop
The cart has to be Multilanguage and very SEO frendly.
Thank you,
