Anyone else recently see Google Search API data not matching with real SERPs?

Is anyone else seeing this, or is it just us?
We have been paying Google for Search API data for month's to compile keyword rankings. In the last couple of weeks the data seems to be grossly inaccurate.
In some cases it says we rank #3 when we rank #36 - in other cases is says we rank #38 when we rank #7... no real patterns or issues to figure out it seems. It is a random pile of bad data - not inline with past data or what we have found in the "real world".
Any help or confirmation on this would be appreciated.

I don't know the solution but API rankings don't agree with the SERPs that I am seeing.
A couple months ago they used to be in great agreement. Not so much now.
