      Hello,

Ive used PrWeb for a few press releases with great results and was thinking of see how marketwire would work for us. Although is much more expensive they have a larger outreach. If we decided to try both of them out simultaneously (Both Different formats same style topics) would it cause any harm to the site we are promoting? Different anchor text, titles, body etc.

      Thank You

If you are targetting seperate anchor texts and titles and totally different content it shouldnt be a problem. The only issue sometimes is that with the huge influx of links you get in a short space of time, it might give Google an indication that something 'unnatural' is going on. If you space them out I don't see why there would be an issue.

Its not which service you use its what you do on the actual release. Are you releasing great news about your company or are you announcing a website upgrade? Most likely no one will really care about a website update. If the content is not intriguing you're better off not doing it at all.

What you need is some #RCS (google + search for #RCS for some ideas)

If your company has attended any charity events or if they are doing some major things in the industry, new inovations etc.. Then a PrWeb or NewsWire article should work.

IMO if you create a PR article it has to be based on something real, usually local to your office or within your office. Also, networking with others in your local area that have something to do with the event (#RCS) can earn you extra traffic, and social mentions, resulting in links.

We cover online concert events, and they are always announcing new concerts, dates shows, etc. So we actually do them quite frequently.  Has anyone tried both services? Do you have a preference? PrWeb has worked Excellent for us, in terms of position on page 1 for a particular event, or news update.

If PRweb is working great for you, I'd stick with it. You can try the latter, as it doesn't hurt to try!

They are both good if the content is good. Ive always used PrWeb and have been happy with it. I would call both companies and compare their distribution outlets, see which site delivers to more quality, or more niche related sites to your own.
