Links from erotic domains

hi.. I have purchased several domains which have had a lot of backlinks.. a lot of these backlinks are still active but mainly from pornsites.. do those backlinks affect the websites i links to from the domain? fx. lets say i have the domain abc.com which has a link from sex.com.. Now i want to link from abc.com to def.com - will the link from sex.com affect def.com in any way?

From what i have read, yes. these domains are not worth a thing, i would cut my loses and get rid of them.

i would de-register then go to church and ask for forgiveness.

make sure they are not linked to you in anyway, including whois.

What you are talking about is one way an evil marketeer can take out the competition. If abc.com was about peanut butter cookies but there were more porno links pointing to abc.com than peanut butter related keywords, the search engine would probably think the site was a porn site.  If xyz.com has a clean link profile and some dirty marketer comes by and builds porno links, then the site may become a porno site for a search engine.

The only thing more evil than that is a DDoS attack.

Maybe if you want to link to other adult sites, i dont know, it may then be a benifit.
