Google Image Search?

We get very little search traffic from the images on our site & I can't necessarily figure out why? We post a ton & tag them correctly, we've got to be missing something?

We are a Wordpress blog, can anyone provide some quality articles on Image search or have suggestions that should help to get more traffic?

Our site does fairly well, as we get over 100k/visits a month, so we'd really like to get more traffic from our images.

Word Press has a plugin for images that adds meta tags to them I have used it before and it works great especially for e-commerce Wordpress sites. You should look into it.

Does Google look at meta tags in images?

Well I think they do, Google certainly reads alt tags which is technically a meta tag for an image.

If you search Wordpress for the plugin I believe it comes with an article on how it works, and what it does.

BTY you have a very nice site I noticed you have yelp reviews installed have you ever thought about allowing your readers to post their own reviews? I believe that would help you more in the long run.
