Hfeed and hentry
-
Having just converted my website from static html to wordpress I now find that I am getting hfeed and hentry warnings from the google rich snippet testing tool. They appear as
hfeed
hentry
Warning: At least one field must be set for HatomEntry.
Warning: Missing required field "entry-title".
Warning: Missing required field "updated".
Warning: Missing required hCard "author".I assume that they are related to the blog post excerpts that appear on my homepage but not sure nor have I found a way to deal with the warnings.

You must solve these warnings. So here I'm gonna tell you how to do it. I removed hfeed and hentry from my template. To do this go to design section of blogger.com of your blog. Click on edit HTML. Download and save your copy of template for backup. If any thing goes wrong we will need this to fix things up. Now search for hfeed in the template. You will get it two times. It will be something like this
just remove hfeed. You will now have something like.
Next search for hentry. You will getand. Remove hentry from both so that you getand.
Now save the template.I have done so with my blog and now my articles featuring in Google Search results shows up my thumbnail and link to my profile. -
Hi Sanket,
Did you actually do this, or was it another user who posted on http://productforums.google.com/forum/#!msg/webmasters/mu2AD_wS69w/K1iY6_zYqIgJ with this answer? It's helpful if you let us know if you actually did this, and if not, where you found the information.
