Best AdWords Training?

We want to give some adwords training to some of our internal staff with no prior SEO / PPC knowledge.

We want to find:

1. A good comprehensive Adwords reference book and
2. A good beginner's Adwords online training course

Any recommendations on some good options for the above?

Speaking from experience, There really isnt a better source to learn Adwords IMO than Google itself. http://www.google.com/adwords/professionals/

They have all of their exam certification training guides online for free. There are about 14 chapters, some of which you can skip but by after reading it all, they will all have a pretty good understanding of Adwords.

I agree the ofifcial Google course content is good for Brginners yet if you want to take it up a notch another good example is Market Motive PPC training example here:
