Check out Couto Solutions, they're a top 3rd party developer for Community Software powerhouse Telligent: http://www.coutosolutions.com/Products/Telligent_Community/Add_Ons/Building_Blocks/Bragger_Badges/Overview.aspx -- bunch of screenshots of different implementations they've done.
