Moving A Website from Web.com and WordPress

It sounds like you took the quick and easy way to get started with your websites, which is perfectly fine. Now you desire more control over your sites.

The process I would recommend is to design a new site. Use wordpress (from wordpress.org) and integrate the web.com site into it. You currently are using two different platforms (web.com and wordpress). Your end goal is a site with a single platform.

Once the new site is designed, acquire hosting for your site and you are all set.

Be sure your site is professionally designed. That means more then just hiring anyone who can build a site. Your developer should have solid, recent experience building wordpress sites. Ideally it would be someone who does such on a full-time basis.
