Www.text-link-ads.com, worth the trouble?

Has anyone used http://www.text-link-ads.com for link building. It is a service I've been reading a fair deal about and I was hoping to hear everyone's opinion on it.

I've used it before waaay back in 2006 it was good then and free, but then Google took an interest in it and penalized people who does it.

Basically I don't see any problem with using it unless used carelessly.

There have been some changes recently but as of the moment I wouldn't recommend it.

+1 to the above. It was a good model when it launched, but now just too cluttered to be of any real significance.
