don't know why I did not see it before but my server "Expires:" tage is set to: Expires: Thu, 19 Nov 1981 08:52:00 GMT Also I have no "Last-modified" http header either Crazy! How much do you guys think this type of thing hurts a site?

It does not hurt the site directly, these headers can help you optimize your website speed by allowing the "Expires" tag to register to a future time so the browser can cache and make your site faster to load and navigate. So it depends on your niche and competitors. if all variables are equal and the only difference between the both site is speed. than you better optimize your sites speed.

        • Switched from and HTTPS to HTTP. My home page is facing a redirect issue from the http to https. Should I no index the HTTP or find the redirect and delete it? Thank you

        • Our site recently switched from http to https. Do I still need to setup a redirect for the incoming links pointing to http?

        • Do you still loose 15% of value of inbound links when you redirect your site from http to https (so all inbound links to http are being redirected to https version)?

        • Using http: shorthand inside canonical tag ("//" instead of "http:") can cause harm?
