Duplicate Pages Issue
-
I noticed a problem and I was wondering if anyone knows how to fix it. I was a sitemap for 1oxygen.com, a site that has around 50 pages. The sitemap generator come back with over a 2000 pages. Here is two of the results:
http://www.1oxygen.com/portableconcentrators/portableconcentrators/portableconcentrators/services/rentals.htm
http://www.1oxygen.com/portableconcentrators/portableconcentrators/1oxygen/portableconcentrators/portableconcentrators/portableconcentrators/oxusportableconcentrator.htmThese are actaully pages somehow. In my FTP there in the first /portableconentrators/ folder there is about 12 html documents and no other folders. It looks like it is creating a page for every possible folder combination.
I have no idea why you those pages above actually work, help please???

That looks like a mess. If the site only has 50 pages, maybe you'd be better off manually creating a sitemap instead. This is going to cause you some duplicate content issues.
Looking at your site, it looks like lots of the links are linking to this sitemap, which may be causing some recursive issues or something. For instance, go to this page:
http://www.1oxygen.com/portableconcentrators/portableconcentrators.htm
Click on the name 'Inongen One G2', or really the name of any of the products on that page, and it goes to the sitemap.
This whole site seems kinda recursive and screwy...

Have you checked the links in your homepage header? Hosting/server platform? Could you take a screenshot of your folder layout and post it?
