Keyword stuffing in footer. You have all 50 states and every country in the world.

On http://www.gphelmets.com/shoppingcart.asp, why push Google Checkout. I used to be a fan of Google Checkout, but it doesn't convert as much as Authorize.net.

The main thing I noticed is that my eyes weren't able to focus on one particular thing, The design is just making my eyes go everywhere.

Why is there a left column navigation with Auto, Karting, and Motorcycle helmets and the same thing is on the top navigation. I didn't know which one to go to. Make me pick one only, not confuse me with two.

There are many good things I see about your site. There are also many opportunities to improve. A few examples:

• your footer is a list of every state along with dozens of countries. I highly recommend removing it all. Everything from "United States Shipping" and below should be deleted. It is pure stuffing.

• when I visit gphelmets.com I am redirected to www.gphelmets.com/Default.asp. I would recommend adjusting the redirect to www.gphelmets.com instead.

• Your home page looks nice when a visitor arrives on the site. It appears you are adding a lot of content (helmets) which would best be presented on your site's inner pages. You also have a lot of links on the page, especially in the side bars. Try to reduce the links on your page to under 100. You can reduce even further too. Check your Google Analytics and determine which links are not being used and either improve or remove them.

• You show a large block in the right sidebar for "2010 Arai Helmet Catalog". You probably should update it to 2011 or 2012.

• your blog is currently on a subdomain blog.gphelmets.com. I would suggest moving it to your main domain, www.gphelmets.com/blog

These changes will help move your site in the right direction.

Thank you for the input,

We removed the states and countries in the footer, and the auto, karting, motorcycles in the top nav.

Will have to work on the meta title/description and keywords.

Any ideas on increasing domain authority?

Thanks, I really apreciated your feedback,

took care of the footer,
not sure how to handle the redirect, that is something that drives me nuts.
will try to reduce some links and update the right sidebar.
and move the blog over.

What would be your recommendations for title/description

Nice improvements. My next suggestions are:

Remove your left sidebar from Arai Auto Helmets to Arai Pinlock. Your Arai New Products and Arai Popular Departments from the lower right sidebar can be placed in the area of the left sidebar where the removed blocks used to be.

Your "New 2010 helmets" probably should be updated or removed

For your "Best Selling Helmets" you currently show 9 helmets. It seems like too much content for your home page. If you wish to keep that block, I would suggest removing 2 rows and keep the third.

For meta tags, you can remove your meta keywords tag as it offers no value at all. You can also remove your meta robots tag. Index, follow is the default setting for all web pages so it is just another line of unnecessary code.

With respect to your title and header tag, you need to perform keyword research to determine the best terms for your site. For example I noticed "arai helmets" shows 74k searches per month, but "arai racing helmets" shows only 480. You want to focus all the relevant variations with your site's inner pages, not the home page.
