Should I mix it up?
Thanks. We are in the process of getting a new site and new domains so that will fix it.

Guest Post Blogging And Exchanging Links
Wow, thanks. Beyond the call of duty that! Yes I did know, I recently hired a trainee in-house SEO who is talking with our web design company and sorting this out at the moment. There is a lot to do! Though I'm asking him to concentrate on a different site which he just finished building. Thanks again.

What are the best ways of improving our domain authority?
I'll chime in on the '**what is a good domain number authority'. ** I hope this is an obvious point... There's no magic number. I would suggest that it depends on your vertical, and the keywords for which you are trying to rank. Quick tip - use the SEOmoz SERP overlay tool . When you're doing searches for your target keywords, you can get a quick/rough idea of the type of domain authority/number of linking root domains that will be necessary to be in the conversation for page 1 rankings.

Have I created link spam.....
Hi Justin, thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure I would have been concerned had it just been a couple of links from the sites. The sites linking are credible well established blogs, with great content. And the response on the sites are genuine unique responses in the comments section to articles created. It seems to be the nature of the comment form and the set up of the blog plugin that makes this look suspicious. I believe I will see if its possible to keep the comment and just remove the link.

Black Hat? Is it really possible my new client paid someone to SEO the word "here"?
Right on. I'll take the additional wait for increased accuracy any day.

How tdo you replace an old SEO company's work?
We did have that kind of experience. While all of your links are low end, we had a major problem because some of their links were good. So we came up with a 6 week strategy. Simultaneously we started a content campaign and vertical business partnerships with links to the site. After two weeks the client company gave a month's notice period to his old SEO company. Once the period was over we did fall in ranks gradually for a fortnight (that was panicky) but we also started ranking for some alternative keywords (hence the client's business did not dry out). We regained most of the rankings after 6 -8 weeks. The downs of this strategy was the client had to pay two companies for 6 weeks, Their businesses went down for three months; but close to a year they have made up for the cost. My tips would be to 1)mentally prepare the client for the loss; you can add the ROI sheet to your proposal. 2) include some other keywords in your campaign so that you can gain rankings immediately and the client's business does not dry out.
