Google indexing is slowing down?
Try getting links for important pages. As for google crawling and indexing: i have websites that contain 10k of URL's on which i know, half of that is not relevant for search at all. Google does it completely automaticly and cuts out the most duplicate or non-relevant pages in comparison to what i offer in my sitemap and brings 4k of pages or so in actual search. It's really no issue. You cant tell me you got 20 million of unique (user) generated content.

Metadata configured, but Google only shows URL with sitelinks. Something wrong with my code?
Google could ignore any given metadata when it wants and how it wants. Ive seen this nummerous times that a manual set title and description is being thrown overboard and google simply selects the content thats onpage in this case. Dont stare blind on it; make sure your content is relevant on which you wanted to be searched for in the first place. The rest will pretty much follow.

No Follow & Rel Canon for Product Filters
Thanks, Chris. We should have no external links pointing to the URLs with the additional product parameters. Are we losing any SEO juice for our internal pages, with the internal links with the additional parameters attached being no follow. For example. For this page: https://www.remke.com/aluminum-strain-relief-cord-grips/ All of the internal links to the "filtered" products/options are marked no follow. ex: https://www.remke.com/aluminum-strain-relief-cord-grips/?cordgriptype=45%20Degree (no follow when linked from the facet filtering on the lefthand side of the site). But the page itself: https://www.remke.com/aluminum-strain-relief-cord-grips/?cordgriptype=45%20Degree has a canonical pointing back to https://www.remke.com/aluminum-strain-relief-cord-grips/. Are we losing any SEO juice from the internal traffic utilizing the filters or is it a moot point and we should just leave it how it is? Thanks again for the help.

Using GeoDNS across 3 server locations
Hi Keith, I meant the physical bandwidth - i.e. your time. I probably should've been more clear in a technical forum! For the architecture, there are a few common setups. What I am in the middle of doing here at my company is through Google Cloud services. Duplicating the website app or script (I.e. Wordpress, Ghost, Drupal, CMS, Python App, Rails app, etc) across the several servers and using a load balancer to determine the fastest server. In the app's configuration I am using a single Database server also set up on Google Cloud, so when one server executes a command, it is reflected for all users on all servers. If you're Cron-jobbing all the servers you have set up but no common database, you're going to have some integrity issues, with some servers having some comments or edits, and some servers not.

I have recently re-done my website. My buyers guide and my category page are ranking for keywords I'm after.
Hi there, It's pretty normal to see some fluctuation when you go through a website change of some kind. The key thing to focus on at the moment is comparing "before and after" for your pages on things such as organic traffic and rankings. If some pages are massively down on either of these, then you should take a closer look and see what may have changed from the old page to the new one. For example: Has content changed or been reduced? If URLs have changed, are the 301 redirects working correctly and not being chained? Have on-page SEO elements such as titles, internal links and keyword usage been changed? Has the structure of the site changed so that pages may be pushed further down the architecture? Has the new page design or copy meant that the intention of the page may have changed from Googles perspective? There are a lot of factors at play but those are the kinds of things that I'd be focusing on whilst things are still early on. Hope that helps! Paddy

Is this Keywords stuffing in domain name and URL?
Focus on making the URL readable, not stuffing. And please, don't make your test "what will cause more of a penalty?" The domain itself is the stronger candidate for ... importance for your term. But as I am sure you know, in this space, you'll need more than a keyword stuffed domain and full URL. I would spend my time focused on other things if I were you.

Reason for reducing site authority domain?
There are a number of reasons why this problem can occur, the main reason being the drop in the number of domains from which you have received backlinks. I also encountered this problem on https://archina.ir

Woocommerce add-to-cart causing increase in temporary redirect
I completely understand where you’re coming from. But I believe that in order for the Moz webCrawler to work properly it would have to be able to detect a CMS and then make unique recommendations for that CMS that would take away the functionality currently for crawling on websites. For now it’s up to the SEO to figure out what to make of the reports. if you want to send me a copy of the report I would love to look at it because there still could be issues that I’m not seeing. Or I could just run a report on the same website if you’d like me to? Is this impacting your your ability to rank in anyway? sincerely, Tom

Are on-site content carousel bad for SEO?
Alviau I believe most of them are basically the same as tabbed content, just presented differently. I can't see the html in your example, but you should be able to--note Mueller's comment in this resource: "We do take into account anything that's in the html." https://www.searchenginejournal.com/googles-mueller-on-myth-of-hidden-tab-content/358724/#close

Hreflang usage for language & country x only language
HI, I don't know if it would make a huge difference in how google will understand the site but it is not a 'normal' setup as per documentation: https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/189077?hl=en If the site does not have different regional variation pages of english (UK vs USA for example) then there is no need to double up hreflang markup with regional notation. You just need the hreflang='en' and it is good for all english language searches regardless of location. Same goes for all the languages. Personally I would remove the extra regional tags to avoid confusion and keep things as simple as possible.

4xx errors
Okay, I'm a Shopify plus partner so I wish I could've been more help but I could only find it is a 404 from almost a year ago. According to the way back machine or archive.org https://web.archive.org/web/20180816071312/https://cracklefireplaces.com/ https://web.archive.org/web/20190304065054/https://cracklefireplaces.com/collections/wall-mounted-ethanol-fireplaces/products/ignis-senti-wall-mounted-ethanol-fireplace The page that you're referencing has no backlinks. | HTML Rel-Canonical | | BROKEN https://cracklefireplaces.com/collections/ethanol-wall-mounted-fireplaces/products/ignis-maximum-wall-mounted-ethanol-fireplace | I would strongly consider looking at the liquid code inside of your team as well as simply rebuilding the page. Also when you doing shall provide a search engine optimization you don't want to have a duplicate of the content of your collection inside of your product content. I don't think it should be too hard to replace the missing page and use the same URL. You may also redirect that URL to your new product page. To find the redirects simply going to navigation and look on the upper left-hand corner and you will see redirects. You see have you have a collection and a product in the same URL normally that is not a good thing but it does mean that there is a duplicate, unfortunately, checking I could not find a straight product page for That product. One thing I would strongly recommend no matter what version of Shopify you are running is using a backup tool like rewind there are other backup tools this is just the one I prefer if you type in backups into Shopify apps you will see what I mean https://apps.shopify.com/backup having a backup Can be a real lifesaver it should be built-in but unfortunately, it's not. Lastly, this is a great article on Shopify SEO for my good friends at go Fish I would recommend reading it as it goes in deeper than what I had about the issues with having collections and products inside the same URL. https://moz.com/blog/shopify-seo Let me know if I can be of any help, Tom

Client suffered a malware attack. Removed links not being crawled by Google!
I'm sorry to hear that that happened to you. I'm assuming that you do not have a backup? if you do have a backup obviously could return your site to normal but let's base this question on the idea that you do not have a backup. what I would do is make sure that that site is cleaned up professionally if you do it through this Sucuri I can tell you through first-hand experience they do an excellent job & will back the work for one year and it sounds like you have a pretty nasty bit of malware on your site. Go here and you can have the site crawled and it will tell you a little bit more about what has infected the site and then you can purchase one of their plans to have your site https://sitecheck.sucuri.net/ this is a free check of the site I am sure you'll see that you had some sort of malware injection. This is where you go to purchase the plan that best fits your budget and your needs. All of the plans will remove the hack from your site and remove any blacklists https://sucuri.net/website-security-platform/signup/ This is 100% platform-independent and will give you a very powerful firewall for free with the service for the next year as well. This will prevent your site from being attacked in the same manner it was before. I wish I had a free solution to offer you but this is the closest thing and it's definitely cheaper than hiring a developer to try to figure out whether it's a really bad attack or just something minor you want to make sure. all those back doors are closed. I hope this is of help to you, Tom

How ask Google to de index scrapper sites?
I have 301 redirects from my old URL to the new URL (and from http to https, and from no www to www) The link suggestion you provided just offered a link to a you-tube video that was instructive but did not help me. I found a link to https://support.google.com/legal/troubleshooter/1114905 which allowed me to "report content that you would like removed from Google's services". I submitted a request that the scrapper site be removed from Google's index.
