Keyword ranking fluctuations
Hello Harry, You look like in 4th position right now with Semrush (take a look at the picture), are you completely sure? Mmm maybe data is not updated at Semrush. OK. Did you get any message of penalty action at Google Search Console against your domain? If so, you will see a message at your Inbox. Also, if this is possible, double-check your domain's health at linkresearchtools.com for free (7 days trial) in order to find toxic links linking to your site. You will get a free detox report of your domain's health and see if something is wrong. Let me know and I will keep checking. Roberto t9QzO

Http:// vs Https:// in Og:URL
Shareaholic and Social Warfare (paid) plugins are the ones I'm familiar with, Sameer. There is also a paid add-on for Sassy Social Share plugin that will accomplish this too. Others may have also added this capability. P.

SEO advice on ecommerce url structure where categories contain "/c/"
Hi Hampus, Thanks for the question! If I were to choose, I'd prefer this option: https://www.granngarden.se/husdjur/hund/c/**hundfoder** Mainly because, like you, I prefer shorter/cleaner URLs and am not a fan of repeating the same words. I don't think there will be a negative SEO impact of removing one of the category name words because the repetition is unlikely to be helping that much right now. If there was a valid reason to have it repeated, then my view may be different. But that doesn't sound like the case so I'd say to go with the shorter URL. I hope that helps! Paddy

Organic search traffic has dropped by 35% since 18 September, we don't know why.
thanks Donna, much appreciated. We're having a meeting about it on Wednesday with developers and marketing. We know the site is slow, we're working on a new back end to the site that will increase speed significantly, but it's still 6 months away. I think it will need to be brought up in the Wednesday meeting. The one caveat is that the site as always been slow (even slower!). Maybe google have lost patience.

If I'm using a compressed sitemap (sitemap.xml.gz) that's the URL that gets submitted to webmaster tools, correct?
Good Choice. The XML Sitemap spec has specific maximum sizes for individual sitemaps, but they are specified sizes before compression, so compression doesn't get you around the size limitations anyway P.

How long does it take for canonical tags to work
Assuming Google crawls the page, how long do you think it will take before we know whether Google is following canonical tags? By follow I mean whether they are following the signal and ranking the canonical link.
