301 technical issue / sitemap being found in search
I'll have to check the redirects & make sure there not directing to the sitemap. & yea I have the sitemap setup in Google webmaster, & to my knowledge there is no anchor text links on the site leading to the sitemap.xml

The short answer is quality links. 36 is not bad, it all depends on how compeditive your industry is. remeber DA is expotentual, it is much harder to move from 36 to 37 than it is to move from 26 to 27

Definitely bad practice. You can have a class in the first h1 but there should be only one h1 to be semantically correct. The exception is HTML5 where you can have multiple h1s per block but the above is not HTML5 by the looks. A

Yes, a 301 will lost some link juice, around 80% is thought to be passed through, give or take a little and depending on who you believe. Hope that helps.

Site 'filtered' by Google in early July.... and still filtered!
Glad to hear things are progressing, even if it is a bit slow. Your pages would likely be indexed a bit faster if they were linked from the home page. In a more typical situation, if you added a new location to your site there might be a "New Locations" block on your home page. In this particular situation it is more of a matter of being patient.

Another possible solution is that google does not display your discription tag but a link anchor of some directory if you gave the same text as anchor. It is easy to decide which situation accurs, just look at the cached version of the page to find out. If the cached version shows the new desc you can still wait up to a week to be sure. If google display an anchor besides your description use this in the header:

How can I exclude display ads from robots.txt?
You'd want to make the URL paths where the display ads live to have the crawl disallowed in your robots.txt, just like any other section of your site. Here's some basics on robots.txt. Hope this helps!
