Followed Linking Root Domains and No Followed Linking Domains
Purely on the ratio - no. It's no problem at all. I very much doubt your followed vs non-followed ratio is a ranking or negative ranking factor. However, all of those no-followed links will not be passing link equity and - I'm very much generalising here - a few spammy links are generally nofollowed, such as blog comments. I'd just quickly review the links that are there and make sure they aren't spammy, but other than that having a larger amount of nofollow links won't be a problem. Hope that helps.

Ok to internally link to pages with NOINDEX?
no I don't think so, you would be cleaning up their index for them.

Google Webmaster Tools: MESSAGE
Generally, if you've been hit by a penalty, blocking with robots.txt isn't enough. You generally either have to remove or improve those pages entirely. As you can see, most of these pages are still in the index. When looking at your site, I found many pages like this: http://www.enakliyat.com.tr/hata.aspx?aspxerrorpath=/manisa-evden-eve-nakliyat-fiyatlari-37 And also "thin" pages without much unique content. If these pages are valuable to your customer, you should consider updating them with fresh, unique content, then file a reconsideration request with Google to lift the penalty.

3 Different Websites but Same Keywords
I'd personally say yes, b/c other SEO geeks could look that up and tell immediately. In practice, I see people do this and it works. The key - thinking as if some real human looks at these sites - is that the content be unique. If you are just creating 3 sites targeting the same keywords but are unique in their own way, then what's wrong with that? Nothing. If I was an attorney then I'd seriously have issues, but I don't think it matters that much if you aren't black hatting your link building.

Some pages on my site are not linked - should I add a Visual SiteMap?
I agree with Baldea, adding an actual (XML) sitemap will add enough value to Google and will also provide you within Google Webmaster Tools with some information about your indexation rates. Of course the best way would be to just make sure all the pages on your site are correctly linked to each other. Of course there are always some cases where you can't do that. In these cases I mostly prefer to use the sitemaps as well.

Shopify duplicate content issue
I noticed that on most product pages you do have lots of content repeating itself. For example - PRODUCT DETAILS, SIZE GUIDE etc. The product pages are relatively thin with content, and the repeated content (duplicated) is larger than the "new" content. Maybe you should change those to images...?

When doing internal linking back to your home/index file what is the best coding course of action?
That was my initial plan but our programmer didn't like the 'external' call being made. So we went with just '/' keeping it all on site. Man I love the Q & A here. Thanks for the help!

Should I put meta descriptions on pages that are not indexed?
If you are sending Facebook and Twitter Trafic to these pages try and use Facebook OpenGraph and Twitter Cards

Should I Parent/Child my Website Pages (need help with terminology too)
Hi Niki, I think that your strategy to maintain the url short is good, it's always best to give short urls if they're descriptive enough. Normally the best thing to do is to give to users an URL which let them understand what a page is about without clicking into it, this may be beneficial also in linkbuilding since people linking to you with your url will involve also some traffic if the linking site is thematically related. About the structure I think that 3 categories are not that much, it really depends on how many products or child pages you have. The best thing to do is to organize them in a way which is thematically organized having all your page not more than 3-4 clicks away from your home, in that way you'll be sure that google can easily find and crawl them frequently because a page deep in your website may not be found or crawled that much.

What is meant by to many on page links
Hi Tim, Keri and Dr. Pete http://www.distilled.net/blog/seo/site-navigation-for-seo/ From Seer Interactive. How many links are on the page? Matt Cutts recently came out with a video that provides some great insight as to how many links on a page Google will digest, but typically if we see over 150-200, we’ll look for a better opportunity. 3. Does PR flow through to the page you’re evaluating? PAGERANK IS NOT EVERYTHING, but it’s interesting to see if Google places that measurement of value on a page. If a page does have PR, fantastic. If it doesn’t, check other scoring systems like mR. http://forums.searchenginewatch.com/showthread.php?t=10494 http://youtu.be/l6g5hoBYlf0 http://www.screamingfrog.co.uk/link-building/ Use Seer Interactive's guide when using this tool it is fantastic http://www.seerinteractive.com/blog/screaming-frog-guide http://www.bad-neighborhood.com/text-link-tool.htm Seer has a great Screaming frog guide I think it's probably the best one published Here are the ways to find out about your internal and external links using Screaming frog http://www.seerinteractive.com/blog/screaming-frog-guide#I_want_information_about_all_of_the_internal_and_external_links_on_my_site Internal Links I want information about all of the internal and external links on my site (anchor text, directives, links per page etc.) I want to find broken internal links on a page or site I want to find broken outbound links on a page or site (or all outbound links in general) I want to find links that are being redirected I am looking for internal linking opportunities Good tip http://www.searchenginejournal.com/visualizing-link-data-with-screaming-frog-and-excel-part-1/43641/ http://www.distilled.net/excel-for-seo/ Use Distilled U or University http://www.distilled.net/u/ This is not an affiliate link I have been a member since the beta came out and I cannot speak more highly of it when it comes to learning about technical search engine optimization http://www.portent.com/library/seo-1/seo-4.htm http://fatfreeguide.com/link-recover/ Great free tools http://www.internetmarketingninjas.com/tools/ Links are critically important to webpages, not only for connecting to other, related pages to help end users find the information they want, but in optimizing the pages for SEO. Duplicate content issue with Wordpress tags?
The harm is that Google may well class your site as having duplicated content issues. This wont always happen but there is a chance. There are also a few other issues which are covered well by Dan Petrovic (link at the bottom). Google does indeed see millions of duplicate content issues and it tries its hardest to only rank one version of that content. You can always make your category pages the landing pages for keywords and not the tags. If you are already being found from tags then don't deindex them but there will be a risk that a Panda data refresh or algo update may hurt your site. http://dejanseo.com.au/effect-of-tag-clouds-on-seo/

Missing & Duplicate Meta Tags
Hi, Hmm, lets look into this a bit more :). For the sid and perhaps some of the other issues it appears you have content available on both the www and non www version of the site. This is usually the situation where the sid parameter get tagged onto the end in magento (open the non www version in a browser then click on the logo, there is your sid). Check out this post on why it happens and how to fix with htaccess. It seems that the www version is the one you are planning on using, is it possible you have set up your campaign as all subdomains? This might account for the issues being shown in the moz report (or else you might be linking to both different versions somewhere in the site like in an onsite banner for example). I would suggest seeing to that first, letting the moz crawl run again and then assessing. Chances are the duplicate content warnings will have been reduced and you can then concentrate on the remaining ones which may need to be addressed differently.

Self proclaimed 5 stars showing in organic search??
It would appear they've just added a rich snippet from schema.org to the page: Home Solar Panels Rated 5/5 based on 145 reviews There's an interesting article on CTR's (related to schema markup) here: http://www.themediaflow.com/2013/05/implementing-schema-to-increase-search-traffic/ But still - I agree, false markup, false reviews = spam. Thanks for the responses!!
