This seems like something that's a little beyond the scale of an app. SitePoint did a great breakdown of the whole ecosystem of page rending here: http://www.sitepoint.com/optimizing-critical-rendering-path/ that details the steps to go through regarding loading pages as quickly as possible. Hi, Back in the days the trailing slash suggested "this is a directory" in contrary to "this is a file". Browsers would react slightly faster – or at least that's what I was told – when they were indirectly told "look for a file called index…". Today that trailing slash is next to obsolete. Today it is considered good practice to either always or never have that trailing slash – otherwise it could be considered duplicate content. But as far as I know neither theory has any impact on SEO. Thanks

I agree with Anthony. It is important to offer the same experience to desktop and mobile users. A responsive design, in my opinion, is much easier to manage and offers the best user experience. Google has said that they do not have a preference for one version over the other, the important thing is to have a mobile friendly version of your site. I think most professionals would recommend a responsive design unless having a responsive design creates a user experience that would be better if there were simply a mobile version of the site. I think that is the only exception.

It's really hard to say, and it's definitely not unheard of for rankings to vary wildly between search engines. It's possible that you lost some ranking power when you nofollowed those links, or that Google is just trying to figure out where to rank you now that your link profile has changed. It's also possible that it's completely unrelated. Honestly, that's why I recommend the Full SERP Report—it might help you work out what it is that's letting the sites ranking above you pull ahead.
