Blackhat SEO firm had more success than whitehat me
That's a good idea, to remind them that the naughty links could have their value wiped in one go at any time.

Buying links
than you all for you response, this is my first time using the seo moz forum and the help i have received so far has been great! The 1st link i actually found because one of my competitors shot up the rankings from 2nd page to top 3, i couldn't work out why but i did notice they had this new link with a pa 90. If i do decide to try the link for a couple of months, i will post the results. Thanks a lot for everyones input!

How long for SEOMoz to reflect new inbound links?
It can actually take up to sixty days (two crawls) for the links to show up, if you happened to have built links right as one of the crawls was finishing. Unlike Google, Linkscape (in the past) crawls about once a month -- spends a couple of weeks crawling then a couple of weeks processing. Your links should have shown up by now for sure, let us know if they haven't for some reason.

What to do with some good links I have?
Would it not be better to link to the specific product page related to the page I have? I would recommend linking to the most relevant page. If your site is about web design and you have a badge promoting web design, then linking to your home page is fine. If the badge is about graphics design, then you can link to your graphics design page instead of your home page. Your SEO factors will be best served if you sincerely try to help users find information they are seeking. Also I can do a canonical to the service pages? Canonicals are used when you have multiple pages sharing the same information but presented in a different format. It sounds like these services pages display different information, so a canonical tag should not be used. It is ok to have some overlap between pages.

Finding pages with a high Page Authority
If you do searches with regular expression and you have the SEOmoz bar installed, that way you can find what should be the most powerful pages for a keyword and kind of site (i.e.: blogs). Not scientific, but the closest you can related to your question.

MOZ campaign questions
Is there a way to tell if sites are on the same C-Block so I can get more C-Block links? You can visit the site and use the MOZbar Analyze Page > Page Attributes function to see the website's IP address. Another method is to simply ping the web address using the command prompt. IP addresses are provided in the following format: AAA.BBB.CCC.DDD. The idea behind the C-block differentiation, is that is one of many methods Google uses to determine a relationship between websites. There are numerous other methods Google or Bing can use as well.

Are javascript calls counted as links?
I think that the answer to this question is highly related to the value that Google would place on --- hotlinked images --- domain mentions --- social media "likes" Just seeing what others think of this.

Pagerank optimization
Hi Salman, If you haven't already seen it, there is a great Whiteboard Friday video from Rand about Pagerank and what you should and shouldn't use it for. In the video, Rand talks about the things that Ryan mentioned in his answer, the points you asked about and a few other things. Here is the link: What is Google's Pagerank Good For? Hope that helps, Sha

Would linking low PR sites (PR1-4) with the same root domain hurt or help an established website.
This is one of those that I am not sure has an exact answer: If per your example the urls beyond this are all linking to ABC123.com and are all the same xyz123/bettys, /susies, etc. I do not think initially it would hurt. I do believe at some point say for clarities sake at 100 there will be no additional benefit. (The root domain is not changing) Frankly, I doubt it would add much at all to a strong and established site. If each of the urls is a site one thing that will draw attention will be whether or not they are on the same IP or C block. So if you have 1000 low PA sites linking to your strong site and the IP addresses are all the same or the C block is all the same I think you could potentially be causing yourself a problem. How big? I don't know. Best of luck.

Iaquire.com "off-page seo" service reviews?
Appreciate the link, thanks! I read through it but it speaks more about their free tool than the services they offer - however it's good to know what else they are up to.

Links on pages that are not cached or indexed by google
If you have access to your log files, you could check if the Googlebot useragent has visited recently.
