Should a website have the same standard headings for product pages? And how does that affect SEO?
Hi there, Sorry this question has gone without more responses. I wanted to follow up. I agree with William that this is more of a usability / conversion question than SEO. In general, this is not an SEO issue although I would lean towards keeping pages' structures the same, with the same markup. I do not know if Google operates in a way in which it develops expectations of a page based on other pages' content / structure, but it could do, and in that case you'd want to keep things standard. From a usability point of view, keeping things standard can mean you can create expectations in your users, and you can also effectively test conversion improvements and A/B or multivariate test pages. This can be extremely profitable from a sales perspective.

Is it advisable to remove "category" from slug?
I would like some info around this for e-commerce sites. My sites currently have .co.uk/brand/armani-jeans but would it be better to just be .co.uk/armani-jens/? And a product type has co.uk/product-category/footwear/trainers/, would this be better servers as .co.uk/footwear/trainers? Thanks and sorry to jump in on this topic.

Too many posts in a category?
I can't say that I have seen any negative effects from it so far. I have done this with ecommerce sites and they havent been affected. Maybe others can share their experiences.

Sudden Drop in Rankings/Traffic/Organic Impressions Without a Penalty
I did not go thru your entire list of links but I checked on BuiderDirectory.com and it costs money to be included in their directory. How is that not the same as buying links? Shouldn't this be a violation of Google's policy as well?

With respect that was not the question being asked re 301. If you have are embarking on building link then sticking with one format would be best surely?

Can we rank website without main keywords on its homepage?
You should rank your home page for your company term. If you want to rank for things like "Social Media Management or Facebook Like", then you should create a page called coriate.com/social-media and coriate.com/facebook-like and create an in-depth article about those topics. Create a guide teaching the reader how to be success at those tasks and then advise them your company does those things. Be careful with keyword anchor text backlinking. Focus on creating high quality content, targeting one primary keyword per page, sharing socially and using your network to help promote the content.

How to deal with duplicate content when presenting event and sub-events information?
I like your idea of regrouping on information on one page. My only concern is that the race page has already tabs and that it will lower the number of page vues for the site. As the site revenues come from advertisement ... Thanks

How many words for product description
The description should be long enough to convey the features of the products, the benefits of it to the customer, and any other important info. If it's 50 words, it's 50. If it's 500, it's 500. Writing to hit a number means you're going to include a lot of fluff. Since you asked this question, it sounds like you're not a copywriter. Pay one to write your product descriptions. It will totally be worth it.

Too many onpage links?
As per SEOMOZ 100 links are perfect from one page but most of the big e-commerce brand using more than 100 links in one page and coming in SERP's with good ranking so i think may be it's SEOMOZ personal view. Thanks, Akhilesh

Navigational Links in Dropdown Menus
No problem Trust me, you will love seo-browser. It makes it sooooo easy to see what is really going on behind the scenes. Hidden H1 tags, hidden content, h3 header tags in sidebars above first H1, all that good stuff. Enjoy

Zendesk page, Appropriate Use of Rel Canonical issue
I'm having issues with zendesk and error reports here in MOZ, did you find a solution? Most of my errors are around duplicate page and content after switching Zendesk platforms.

Should I remove 'local' landing pages? Could these be the cause of traffic drop (duplicate content)?
Yea I found a folder and in it was not just the towns from that county but folders for each county which were also up a folder level (where they should be). I don't use PPC for the Top 10 site listed in my profile. I use it for the site I've had the issue with here (a separate site not listed in my my profile). It's a white label site but I'm struggling to make the PPC profitable to be honest. Any tips appreciated!
