Should my website be accessible by IP?
also going to https://casecurity.ssllabs.com/index.html and entering "example.com" or "www.example.com" shows two different certificates. the "example.com" certificate comes up as not trusted and when pasting the ip address into the browser it redirects through to the website. www.example.com certificate comes up as trusted, however when pasting the the ip address it takes me through to a page with the message "your connection is not private" and when clicking the continue anyway link, it takes me through to an unsecure IIS page? is this a problem? or is this a non-issue?

Hi Tim, It sounds like you're using CMS. Our site is a CMS. The software provides an automated functionality, but we prefer more control over the products displayed. So we use the software's functionality that allows us to manually enter the product codes that we want displayed. If we want ultimate control, we enter the links to the products we want displayed. There may be an add on that complies with your software. I may be wrong (for your sake I hope I am), but I have a feeling that if you use a CMS and you've asked your provider if they know of a good solution for this and they can't provide it, you're probably stuck doing it manually.
