Give your opnion about our strategy
Hi Sounds like your from South Africa When it comes to targeting pages for keywords, i would avoid "cannibalising" your pages. If "goedkope vliegtickets" has a high volume of searches, then have only one page for "goedkope vliegtickets". What i mean is with "goedkope vliegtickets" you dont want to confuse google on which page you want it to display on the serps. Stick to your optimized page "goedkope vliegtickets" and let google rank that page ONLY for that particular keyword. When someone finds that page, you need to be sure you can direct them to the page they are actually looking for "location/tickets, etc When you research more keywords, you might find "goedkoopste tickets durban" this is a seperate keyword, so you are not "canabalising" if you created another page. I hope i made sense and good luck! GREG

Recommendation of second target keyword
I'm not an SEO Guru just a junior on his way so think twice my advice before accepting it, it's just an opinion From my point of view I'd choose a smaller submarket of the big one you're talking about. Travelling, tourism have big market with strong competition. I'd go for long-tail keywords on subpages, optimize them for those keywords. On a long-term I still wouldn't go for the whole market if the competition is too strong with strong SEO. I'd choose smaller submarkets which can be defined around keyword groups and just one keyword. In the title use the most searched term and the content should contain more keywords, preferably long-tail ones. I think from a marketing perspective: it's much better to occupy a smaller market then become the 100th on a bigger one, because not your product or service but your position in your niche will define your business strategies, goals and success. Destiny - this is the best idea in your question! I'm sure it's a good idea and it works! Keyword Density - is the opposite do not overuse keywords and their plural forms, it's a bad practice. http://www.seomoz.org/blog/perfecting-keyword-targeting-on-page-optimization Hope this helped!

Give your opinion about our keyword strategy
Hi Vliegtickets.nl, For targeting keywords, this is a good start. Putting your keywords near the beginning of your meta titles and descriptions is proper format and will help your click-through rate. However, as stated previously, make sure not to use the same word repeatedly throughout the tags. By using more varied text while focusing on variations of your keywords, you can optimize your keyword use and not have your text read like spam. Also, make sure not to waste characters on smaller, unnecessary words; instead, create short phrases emphasizing your keywords. As well, make sure your keywords are used within the first 100 words of visible text on your site. This will help your keyword ranking even more than emphasizing the keywords in the meta description. If you are inquiring about overall page building, then also be sure your site design is static, organized and has lots of relevant information pertaining to your keywords on the main page. A clear call-to-action and contact form in the upper right hand corner is also an essential component.

Targeting combination of keywords
I would agree with both Andy and Shailendra. Keep your pages focussed and where possible, have pages with a dedicated purpose. Create pages in a structured manner and as already mentioned, try and get a phrase into the URL, the page title, H1, etc., but ensure that your links can be followed easily by your visitors as well as the search engines. Embed a few links with strong anchor text into the page content where possible as well. Good luck, Andy
