Potential Ethical Conflict: Google My Business Paid Reviews
I probably got hit by the survey a half dozen times over the course of a year. The problem was it's really difficult to take screenshots on my phone, without closing out to the 'desktop'. Finally managed to capture one about six months ago, then sat on it. I know the brands involved, so it's probably pretty easy to verify if the pay per review thing was sanctioned. I'm just not certain which tree to bark up. To me, it's clear the ethics have been at least modestly bent. Compensation involved with any review is a paid review. But the dark side tells me if this is readily available, it might be handy one day.

Analytics Spammer Can Haz Humors: Who Else?
so my guess is it is still coming from the referral spam because once Google or Moz any crawler that a tool that can assimilate keywords with inbound links anchor text and context it is normally a sign of referral spam. Hopefully we're not into a new era of something new. Try blocking everything via analytics and a WAF I recommend Incapsula, Distill Networks & Sucuri WAF Sucuri is awesome And only $9 a Month https://sucuri.net/website-firewall/ I Hope this helps, Tom

Strange Google SERP Layout: Anyone?
My response was pretty delayed on this one. No, I don't sync my phone with anything. Granted, I have my email accounts connected - but I'm too paranoid to sync it my machines. Anything with that many certificates, out of the box, isn't getting that kind of access. It's been months and it hasn't happened again. The Googles just probably crossed my internet tubes for a second.

Tlames Again?
Travis, I think this really proves what Se ma lt was up to from the beginning. Do all the web crawl spam to gain authority and faux traffic so they could show a high DA, etc. Good find. Thanks,
