Perhaps a competitor or hacker are trying to displace them from the search results? One of the 'spam' results has "2,427 links to this URL from the past 32 days" according to Open Site Explorer - have you checked to see if any of that anchor text is the company name? Try replying to celebrity tweets and mentioning them in your social media. My current marketing director does that and we get about a 5-10% interaction or reply. More importantly we've noticed if the post or tweet is in positive light they're more thank likely respond or  react. We have a "Celebrity Body of Day" and we post it throughout all of our social media and have had great response from it. I hope that gives you a little insight. Good luck soldier.
