I've been involved with web development since 1998. Around 2001ish, I started offering SEO (or something like it: according to the Wayback Machine we listed it on our site as "Search Engine Positioning"; I guess it's nice that we were so confident!) to clients. I started obsessing over visitor data and fell in love with analytics, and the rest is history.

I have a background in code so technical SEO really floats my boat. We do quite a lot of Local as well.
