We are in the process of creating a Spanish subdomain of our website. I want to know what needs to be done in regard to meta tags, sitemap.xml and robots.txt so that Google and Bing will index both website properly and not causing the web page on the English site to lost rank.

Our English site is www.mydomain.com with the Spanish site being es.mydomain.com

We are planning to put a button or link on both sites so that visitors can switch between both sites.

The two sites are similar but not all pages are mirror images.

I'm searching for in-depth texts on gathering, organizing and analyzing customer and non-customer feedback on demographics, technology habits, shopping methods, value perceptions, attitudes / interests, how to reach them and the like.

We currently carry out email surveys, site surveys and some phone surveying, but honestly the organization could be a ton better.

Do you have any in-depth texts on the subject you really like?

Wanting to use search operators such as "KEYWORD inurl:blog" to identify potential link targets, then download target url, domain and keyword into an excel file. Then use SEOTools to evaluate the urls from the list. I see the link aquisition assistant in the Moz lab, but the listed operators are limited.
