Hello! Thanks for your patience, I had to chat with folks on our Design and Engineering Team before answering your question. Moz chose to use Highcharts for a few reasons. Here are some of the advantages we found: (in no particular order) Robust library (variety of charts, stability/bugs, etc.) Up-to-date design, our team loved the look and feel Good support/documentation Relatively inexpensive to implement and maintain Compatible with multiple browsers Familiarity, our Design and Engineering teams worked with Highcharts in the legacy product Overall, Highcharts solved for Engineering and Design requirements.
