A few people have mentioned a refresh, supposed i'll have to wait and see.

Thanks Ankit, The site has been re branded for a months now and has had "Ross X Bute" backlinks and anchor text for some time. The "Ross & Bute" title however has only popped up the last couple of days. Is it just a case of doing more of the above and sitting it out or is there more of a quick fix i could exploit? Cheers

well your root domain has a trust and rank score so if you optimize your product pages I'm assuming this is some sort of a e-commerce website. The more trust and rank will go to your website's domain or root domain the us spreading it across any subdomain you build. The times when subdomains were considered completely different than non-subdomains are over so it essentially could mean it would reflect identically.
