Why is there such a difference between Open Site Explorer and Domain Analysis?
When I look at my links in the Competitive Domain Analysis and I see I have 113,018 Ext followed links but Open Site Explorer shows 3,148. Why is there such a difference? It sounds like you are examining two different link metrics. Is it possible you are looking at "linking root domains" or another metric in OSE? Another possibility is in OSE you are looking at links to the page but the other tool is showing links to the domain. In addition, is there a way to view the External Followed links? I want to see where these 113,018 links are coming from. From your Mozbar you can click on the link total and your OSE page will open. Alternatively you can navigate to OpenSiteExplorer.org and see a breakdown of your links.

Include the company/domain name in page titles and urls?
I think that if you have an important, impressive, well-known brand that you can boost your SERP click through rate and conversion rate by including your brand in the title. However, for a relatively unknown brand like mine there might be more valuable things to include in the limited title tag space. These might include: - free shipping - kick ass price - free ebook - fast delivery - biggest selection - free beer - a couple of extra keywords to pull traffic All of these can elicit clicks and put the buyer in the mood to do what I want him to do when he gets on my site. I am not out to compete with Microsoft on branding. I am out to get visitors onto my site and covert them - so I believe that in my situation the title tag space can be more wisely spent.
