Best practice to redirect all 404s?
Hey is it best practice to redirect all 404 pages. If the page that was taken down has no inbounds links or a relevant substitute landing page, 404's are fine. For example if the 404 pages had 0 traffic and no links why would you need to redirect that page? If it has a contextual-relevant landing page, use a 301. Even it has no traffic, it may have organic rankings and/or traffic until it gets dropped from the serps.

Redirect Chains
Thanks for the response. How would you redirect http and https at the same time? You would have double urls per page which could get long and tedious. Just wondering if there is better approach.

Hreflang tags on just one page?
Hi there! There are 3 things to say here: Hreflangs only apply when different pages/domains are copies/translations and carry the same user intent Google understands correctly ccTLD domains, making less necessary to use hreflang Hreflang tag with just self-referential is worthless. Because of 1. and because it need the tag corresponding to the translation page. In this case, if you are apllying hreflang to 3 pages, there should be 3 tags. Also, just for clarifying, take a look at these articles: Multi-regional and multilingual sites - Google Search Console International checklist - Moz Blog Using the correct hreglang tag - Moz Blog Guide to international website expansion - Moz Blog Tool for checking hreflang anotations - Moz Blog Hope it helps. Best Luck. GR.

Determining if video is a option for SERP Results?
Hi there! If there isnt any video shown in the results, its very likely that Google understands that people does not look for videos results by that query. There is a great opportunity as you say ranking videos, but not in that search query. If you dont mind, I'd like to recommend you to try SEMrush and its keyword tracker, they show the rich snippets for any selected keyword. It's very usefull to kickstart a research from there, it may help to find other paths for finding video rich results. Yeah, keyword research takes time. Finding the gap where to put all your effort is difficult, always be sure and try to confirm that you are targetting the correct set of search terms with other tools and/or other proffesionals. Hope it helps. Best luck. GR

Is single H1 tag still best practice?
That's just laziness on their part, they should update to have an H1 on every page.
