SEO and multilanguage site
Hi all!
I have used a wordpress plugin called WPML which translates a webpage into another language so that I have a webpage in two different languages (spanish (main market) and english). I'm just doing the seo for the spanish market and I'm gonna start with the seo for the english one. Should I do it just the same as I had a one-single-language page? just with english keywords, etc. I guessit would only differ in the way I do the linkbuilding strategy as the markets are different
Thanks

Keyword in home II
Hi there! As someone told me in this forum it's important regarding SEO that the home page has the keyword in the url.
When I type in www.tarifakitesurfcamp.com the home page is shown but it doesn't have the keyword por that page (cause obiously I didn't make any change at all) . I mean it should be something like www.tarifakitesurfcamp.com/KEYWORD right? The problem comes when I try to edit the url in the page section of wordpress. I'm not allowed to do that. Otherwise I CAN edit the rest of the pages of the website (not the home or considered as home).
Does anybody have an answer for this issue?
Thanks

Should the pages I don't want to optimize with a specific keyword have its own title and description?. I only want them to get indexed by the the bot but not get found by a keyword in particular so that the their content is not very relevant.

If my wordpress site "breaks down" and I just have to reinstall the entire site again. What kind of impact has in my SEO? I guess that if the crawler notices that my site is down it will have it into account (negatively) but ....what about the link-juice of my pages, etcc...? What collateral efects has a crash in my site.
Thans in advanced.

Keyword at homepage
Hi there, this is the url of my homepage:
http://www.sehaidoyamama.com/piensapiensa/
PiensaPiensa is not my keyword.
I have selected a keyword to optimize the homepage. Does anyone know how to include the keyword in the url of the homepage? I tried to do it in the "pages" section of wordpress but I wasn't able to do it. The home page doesn't allow to change the url.
Is it important to set up a keyowrd in the url of the homepage?
Is it appropiate from the usability perspective?
Thanks

Optimizing for two keywords
Hi there, my question is: I need to optimze two pages related to almost the same concept but different orientations.
One keyword is "emocional intelligence development"
and the other word is
"emocional intelligence workshops"
I can't mix the two pages in one unique page due to web strucutre reasons.
Is it possible to optimize each web for each keyword independently although they have the concept emotional intelligence in common?
Thanks

RE: H1 tag in wordpress
Hi Mike! here is one link:
http://www.sehaidoyamama.com/piensapiensa/servicios/talleres-para-docentes/aprendizaje-cooperativo/
should it be "taller de aprendizaje cooperativo", the title of the page "not the title tag"
Thanks.

H1 tag mandatory?
Hi there! Is a mandatory to fullfill the H1 tag in order to improve SEO? I mean I'm in the case where the keyword selected is appropiate to optimize the page but not appropiate to be in H1 tag 'cause it probably "doesn't sound good" to the user. Is it enought to be present in the url, title and description?Any suggestion?
Thanks in advanced.

H1 tag in wordpress
Hi there! I'm having problems to locate the h1 tag in wordpress (in each page) in order to optimize the pages for SEO. When introducing text it starts with h2. Where can I locate it?
Thanks in advanced.

Keyword at homepage
Hi there! Is it true that the most relevant keyword should it be located in the home page of a website since it has the most link-juice or this statement is a "myth"?
Thanks

A good SEO praxis?
Hi all, having a worpress site with 10 DIFFERENT pages (each with its own different content) and consequently 10 DIFFERENT keywords to optimize......Can somehow Google penalize me for having such a number of different keyowrds? I guess sometimes there no way to avoid it. It depends on the content of each page. You'll need a keyword to optimize them (if you consider they are relevant enough).
Thanks.

Same keyword for almost same content
Hi all! my site deals with a concept called "motivation" in two different categories: motivation for teachers (related to kids) and motivation for parents (related to kids all well). These two categories (in different pages and in different menus) deals with the concept through different perspectives. BUT the keyword to optimize the pages is the same. Due to the structure of the web I've been given I am in this position. I can't redesign the web (I'm not allowed to do it). Any solution related to the keyword? Should I maybe optimize one page with the keyword and in this page have a link to the other not-optimzed page?Any ideas?
Thanks in advanced.

Number of keyowrds
Hi there, my question: is there a limit of keywords we can optimize for?
I mean my site has 12-15 different pages I can optimize for different keywords. I just heard that it's convinient not to optimize for many keywords o criteria.
Is that right?
Thanks in advanced.
