Hi Lonneke It depends on your version of Excel, but it sounds to me like you are opening a file that is CSV (comma separated values) and excel isn't seeing the comma as a delimiter. When you first open the file, there should be a wizard that lets you specify that it is a delimited (not fixed) file and that your delimiter is a comma. That should fix your problem.... Carole
